Bailey just loves gymnastics! Even her party was held at a gym. She picked out a bunch of cake photos for examples to give me an idea of what she wanted, and we went with this one. Everyone loved it!

Westjet over Calgary
Another cake for Jay. He comes up with odd requests. The map depicts Comox, Calgary, Bancroft and Ottawa.

Dr. Shafeena
I LOVE how this cake turned out!
A little backstory behind the making of this: Dr. Shafeena's friends are throwing her a party to celebrate her birthday as well as her recent Graduation. Shafeena is an accomplished MenDhi artist and the image which I copied was sent to me to use by her friends. She recreated that image on canvas as part of her residency project. Her art can be seen here: Maternity Matters
I do hope that she loves my version of her passionate picture.

I think that I would like to attempt another Star Wars ship, possibly the death star. Is that one of them? I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to Star Wars movies. I'll have to ask my son.

Baby Reveal
I am so glad that I found this concept, and that the trend is picking up. I love to be one of the few people that know the secret gender hidden inside this cake.
Sherman and Jeff's wedding
Friends of ours recently got married away in Hawaii. They had a reception party at home for all who were not able to attend the tropical ceremony.
It dawned on me while I was finishing up this cake that I have done this same design in the past only the cake had larger tiers. Classic designs go on for years.

Auction Cupcakes
When I donated a pretty ruffled cake to an auction last month the recipient also won a future order of their choice. This was the order. Chocolate cupcakes with vanilla swirl icing for a nephew's graduation party.

Made for a very accident prone guy who really really wants a chainsaw. Probably NOT a good idea.

Soccer Star Topsy Turvy
This is a different take on the usual topsy turvey cakes. The ball cake was a little harder to ensure it would fit on. (Plus I am not great at all the geometry of making the soccer pattern look right)
