This was a new way for me to do cupcakes. I saw a similar design made by Sweet Little Cakes and thought I could achieve similar results using a FBT.
It worked out well.

This not so mini Minnie was done larger than I normally do these character cakes. The difference in the color I think made this one stand out more than the ones I have done in the past that were all pink and purple.

A good friend is having a birthday today and my husband is taking this cake to her work to surprise her.
I have been wanting to practice my lilies so the timing was perfect. I've never tried to make a lily bud before so I gave it a shot and it worked out well.
I can't wait to see how the wedding lilies turn out for my summer wedding cakes!
